My role in the group is to thoroughly research my country (North Korea) and i will probably have a major part in the filming, editing, and script of our video. I have been a big part of coming up with our driving question, I have suggested and refined the idea of researching different countries and their dictator leader, and I have completed some research on North Korea. We are one of the few groups that decided to change our driving question. We changed it to something that could have a more useful answer, and something that is also meaningful and easy to research. At the time we are also coming up with an idea for our final product, but we are not sure whether we will make a video or a newspaper. All we really know is that our final product has to somehow tie in the news, because we are talking about governments and world issues and news seems to be the best way to portray that . The group seems to be working well together for the most part and i do not think there will be any issues coming up with group hopefully.

We have started writing our script, and we have decided that we will in fact do a news channel type video. Everyone seems to agree on this idea, so no problems there. The script writing is going pretty well, although some people needed to write their parts but did not have hem done. That was a small problem but we just wrote them in class time so everything is good, we still have over a week to complete the project, and with our final idea decided, and out script almost done we are in a very good place right now. I just finished my research on North-Korea and now we are working as a group to integrate the the information form our research into the script.
Update: We just changed our final product to a mix of a video, and a live news report. The group finished compiling the information form our research at home, and now we are ready to film the first part. Because the change of plans in our final product we decided to take one extra day to change the script, so that Tallis and Tristan can preform their part live.

As I mentioned last time we took on extra day to change the script to add in the live aspect of the video/skit, and now that we are den that we are ready to film. The group has been working excellently so far and we are far ahead of many other groups. Today we filmed Kush outside in the snow because we wanted to replicate what situation a news reporter from Russia would be in to make it look more believable. His filming was a little rough because we had many interruptions, the camera angles were hard to get, the script was hard to move, and it was verryyyy cold outside. Regardless of all that we got it done in one period, and that was half our filming done. We were even able to get him to pause, and look like he was receiving information st the right time so that when we do the live skit, Tristan's interjection will look very real.
Next day: Today we filmed my part. We did not go outside again because it was freezing, but we did film by a window to make it look like it was outside. Our team work has been great, and now that we finished filming today, all we have to do is wait for Amanda to finish all the editing and we will be ready. Over all I think this project was very well though out, and very well executed. Next time we just have to work on wasting less time. Hopefully we will do well on the live preformance
